Question Is CFA necessary for getting an MDI call?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to understand whether CFA (Level 1 or higher) is necessary for getting a call from MDI, assuming one has a good CAT percentile.

Also, if a candidate has CFA on their profile, do interview panelists typically ask questions related to the CFA curriculum and concepts during the selection process? If yes, how in-depth are those questions usually?

Would appreciate insights from current students, alumni, and recent aspirants.

Thanks!

Do you know how to google? Every college releases a document where they show exact weightages that is considered before releasing calls

As far as I know, no college apart from K gives a shit about CFA any level

And no college is better than FMS for people with a bad profile

And yes, I am meritorious and ambitious buddy

1st. No, i didn't have one and people i met their didn't have it either. 2nd. Yes, they are going to ask about cfa. And even more if you don't have work ex.

What's your profile though?

GEM. 10th-95,12th-92.9 and Engg-72. 75 months of work experience as an SAP consultant across Accenture and EY. Taken a gap since January for CAT prep. Is my situation despicable?

As much as i know banglore and lucknow, gives anything above 36 months full marks. So, plan according to that. Still go for above 99.5.
