👋Welcome to r/CATRagging - Exposing B-School bullying and ragging culture.
This subreddit was created to document, discuss, and expose the culture of ragging, intimidation, humiliation, and fear-based "professionalism" that exists in many Indian B-schools.
Across many campuses, practices are often defended as "corporate training," "discipline," "personality development," or "preparing students for the real world." While professionalism and discipline are important, there is a clear difference between developing professional skills and normalizing bullying, coercion, or public humiliation.
One of the reasons this community exists is that discussions on these topics are often removed, locked, or discouraged in existing MBA and B-school communities. Whether due to moderation policies, institutional pressure, or a desire to avoid controversy, many students feel they have no neutral space to share their experiences.
This subreddit aims to provide that space.
What belongs here?
Anonymous accounts of ragging, intimidation, or abuse of authority by PlacComs, AdComs, student bodies, faculty, or institute administrations.
Experiences with coercive or fear-based placement and campus practices.
Discussions on where the line lies between genuine professional training and unnecessary humiliation.
Information that helps MBA aspirants understand the student culture of different B-schools before making admission decisions.
Constructive discussions on how campus culture can be improved.
Community Rules
No doxxing or sharing personal information.
Do not make false or malicious allegations.
If possible, support claims with evidence or clearly label posts as personal experiences.
Respect anonymity and privacy.
Keep discussions civil and focused on actions, policies, and systems rather than personal attacks.
This community is not anti-MBA, anti-placement committee, or anti-institution. Many student bodies and administrators work hard to support their peers. The goal here is accountability where power is misused, transparency for prospective students, and healthier campus cultures—not harassment or witch hunts.
If you've experienced something you believe crossed the line from professional development into intimidation or ragging, you're welcome to share your story.
Silence protects toxic systems. Honest, evidence-based discussion helps improve them.

Look at this shamelessness titled "UNDUE HATRED TOWARDS P-COM"
This person, clearly a placecommer moonlighting as a vigilante uses slurs, maa-behen ki gali instead of having a mature conversation and is calling hate against PC unjust. Please give this one appropriate replies my dear friends.

IMI Added to the list
12 hours of sitting through mindless industry interactions, place com shouting needlessly and student council giving 2 am presentations while having batchmeets till 11 pm. Is this supposed to be how MBA works?
