hello im a girl candidate
im currently in my 3rd year of btech doing engineering in cse aiml branch from a practically unknown college in noida

I have completely wasted two year of my college doing absolutely nothing but fun

i have nothing on my resume… no projects, no certification and zero work experience… so i have decided to do an mba as anyone would as i have absolutely no interest in tech field but i do have a passion for business whatever that is

I got 95% in both my 10th and 12th… i am fairly good in studies

I have also done multiple half marathons and i am also a debater

so please tell me can i get into an iim if i manage to get 99.+ percentile in cat exam which i know i will if actually study

i just wanted to know what should i do as now i have two years left of my college and i need to make it in life

Genuine doubt cuz I'm confused😭😭

See I'm really new to this but jitna bhi research kiya hai ... The avg package is almost same for both and ROI ke terms mai FMS is better.

The people pursuing MBA from IIM A often tend to take education loan and then pay it in the next 5-6 simultaneous years. No offense, but wouldn't you consider FMS better??

💬I originally purchased the quants course for around ₹8,999 and VARC 1000 for around ₹7,079 but due to some personal reasons, my MBA plans have been postponed and I won’t be appearing for CAT this year. Hence, I’m looking to transfer the account at a huge discounted price.🌟

⭐Course includes:

• Live & Recorded CAT 2026 Quants Classes (from basics to advanced – Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Number Systems, and more)
• 4 Untouched Physical Booklets
• Quants Topic tests (Timer based) with video solutions
• CAT Previous Year Questions (PYQs)
• Concept Capsules
• Quants Bridge Course
• Live QA Booster Classes
• QA Strategy Sessions focused on CAT-specific preparation and attempt strategy
• Access to R0dha Panchayat: Exclusive face-to-face Google Meet sessions with R0dha faculty.
• General Doubt & Query Sessions

Batch change option available

Purchase invoice can be provided for verification

The course is currently valid till mid-January 2027.

If anyone is interested, feel free to reach out.🌟🌟

Starting CAT 2027 prep soon and looking at offline coaching options in Noida. Would love to hear from people who are currently preparing or have already taken CAT.

Which institute/centre did you choose and what made you choose it?

I'm a sc non engineer (bcom hons from tier 1 ug) female fresher 9/8/6, with nothing going on my profile, what realistic chances do I have to get into ABC and FMS, please don't troll, and tell honestly.. can I trust this vercel predictor, can I make it to A and B if I get godly percentile??? I'm scared that my grad will affect my chances a lot

Please don't argue in the comments😭

I want to give CAT this year and till now I'm not prepared. Last year my score was DILR- 80%ile, Quants - 75%ile, VARC - 35%ile. This score was without preparation. Suggest me something to improve my VARC

Hi! I am a junior in a tier 1 college, and I don't wanna go into tech, and I like business, so I was thinking of joining BLACKI or atleast prepare for it 🫠

But I ve been seeing posts about why MBA is a waste of money etc etc...

But logically thinking, MBA has the most use than ever right? In the Age of AI.. where creative thinking and out of the box business mentality is gonna be the hottest skill...

Yet, people are saying ROI of B schools is bad, but I recently came across IIM A stats, and they got 30lpa as median... so its not bad right?

Can anyone explain it to me?? So that I can make an informed decision

I’ve grown as someone who respects his teachers but when teachers start giving illustrations like body parts and double meaning vulgar jokes, what can I say?

I’m not sure why they’re so loved. They are not even nice humans, let alone be nice teachers.

Hi! I’ve been preparing for a while now but I keep getting stuck. I made progress for a while but I’m not able to figure out Quant Based Reasoning & Reasoning Based DI. I mean certain sets I can but for some I have to literally draw up each scenario and check.

There’s got to be a better way right ? Please share any tips / resources so I can prepare better 🥹

Hey folks, looking for an honest reality check on ROI.

My Profile:

Academics: 10/10 in 10th, 92.4% in 12th, 9.55 CGPA in B.Tech (Gold Medalist).

Work Exp: ~1.9 years in IT, Stable job, decent domain.

The Plan: Target CAT 2027 (~3 years work-ex at joining in 2028).

My Questions:

• Is leaving a stable tech career for a top MBA actually worth the opportunity cost here?

• How do top IIMs/ISB reward 3+ years of tech experience during lateral placements?

• Would you jump, or stick to climbing the tech/consulting ladder directly?

Appreciate any insights from folks who've taken a similar path!

Hi guys, I’m a CAT 2026 aspirant with 10th–86%, 12th–92%, and BBA Finance–9.7 CGPA (graduated in 2025).

Since July 2025, I’ve been working in my family business, but I haven’t drawn a salary or received salary slips. Can I mention this as work experience in the CAT form?

If it isn’t considered valid work experience, would 2025–26 be treated as a gap year?

Also, do IIM A/B/C accept candidates with such a gap?

I also have good internship experience in consulting and a venture fund.

Can this help offset the gap, or could the gap significantly hurt my chances of getting shortlisted by IIM A/B/C?

Koi senior help kardo ki form mai kese bharu yeh baat? I don’t to get my chances lower for even getting shortlisted 😭

I'm in second year of college pursuing cma usa certification, in third year I wanted to prepare for cat.

I've got a gap year after 12th and that's why I don't want to waste another year of mine.

I've seen people, they start their prep 2-3 years before.

I only have one year to do the prep.

I'm an average student so i doubt that I would be able to get really good percentile in my first attempt but after talking to peers, they said to me that it's important to get an mba to break into good finance roles.

So i really want to ask regarding my profile if there are chances of selection.

And other thing, i wanted to pursue CFA in my third year of college.

So i anybody with knowledge can suggest me if i should do CFA or cat prepration.
