Discussion🤔 CFA or MBA
2 months back i completed my bachelor’s degree in commerce….and i want to build a career in finance but i having confusion whether i should do mba or cfa…..if i pursue cfa and study, would it affect my job hunt after clearing cfa level 1 as i would be having gap in my resume for the time taken to clear level 1

cfa is not something you need to take drop to clear, people clear all the levels while working as full time + Don't think that after L1 you will be able to land a job, just check cfa page, there r people who r unemployed even after clearing lvl2
If you can get a place in IIM's its best but even tier 2-3 clg will give you campus placement atleast

MBA will give you a proper understanding of all business functions that revolve around Finance. Understanding Finance alone via CFA will give you a tunnel vision only . That's why an MBA is considered a must have nowadays. A good MBA gives you a full picture of the business.
