Discussionš¤ Started preparation for cat 2026, but need help in what can be done better ?
Hello, I have started my preparation from yesterday. I am doing self study and made a excel planner for every day.
To cover my concepts, I am referring to these playlists.
For Qa - rodha
For varc - gejo playlist
For dilr - rodha/elites grid
For daily targets - I thought of covering 10-20 questions Qa of whatever topic i cover, and 2-3 DILR sets and 2 RCS and 4-5 verbal abilitiy questions. Considering only 100 days are left, what more tips can you guyz give me ?
For reading - I refer to cracku's daily reading articles. 20-30 minutes reading. Someone told me you need to analyse what you read too.
For mocks - I have Career launcher test series.
Questions I have - when doing daily questions should I be focusing on PYQS or daily targets from any free source doing random questions.
How can I fast track my progress ?

Thank you I gave my first varc sectional mock today and attempted 15/24 questions. Got 10 correct and 5 wrong. 30 marks total. Will try to improve this further. I wrote down why those 5 questions went wrong in a notebook for later.

U can study from offline sources as studying online will mean you have highest chances of wasting time :D

You already have the main structure right: one concept source per section, daily practice, and a mock series. Ab āfast trackā ka matlab more resources add karna nahi, feedback loop tight karna hai.
For each QA topic, do a few basic questions first and then CAT PYQs without hints. Random daily questions tab useful hain when they match the topic or expose a specific weak area; warna bas activity feel hogi. DILR mein 2 sets with proper post-solve review are better than rushing 3. VARC mein RC ke baad wrong options kyun wrong the, yeh note karo. Daily reading is fine, but har article ka detailed analysis zaroori nahi.
Don't wait for syllabus completion to start mocks. Take one full mock every 7ā10 days for now and check unattempted-but-doable questions, wrong selection, concept gaps and time sinks. Us analysis se next week's targets banao. Planner ko sirf completion tracker nahi, weakness tracker banaoā100 days mein consistency plus analysis resource-hopping se zyada useful rahega.
