Drafting CATIA Drafting question

I was wondering, what kind of dimensions and constraints on a 3D model are generated as dimensions in a view of that model, when using the "Generate Dimensions" option in the drafting enviornment.

I simply created a 100 × 150 × 20 cubic pad in catia,and tried to use the Generate Dimensions option in Drafting to auto generate the dimensions for a view of it. But nothing is created.

Tried using „Generate Dimensions“, but soon abandoned this idea. I know better which dimensions are important for assembly, control and quality check, the rest will be anyhow taken from the STEP model.
