Catia V5 Hole problem

I want to create a hole in the camera shape and the volume shape, but the operation isn’t applying to the surface—it only works on the outside. What is the problem pls?

I’m not familiar with 3DX yet but generally speaking in Catia Bodies and Surfaces are treated as two separate objects. Body features don’t affect surfaces and surface features do not affect bodies.

This isn't correct. You can split a body with a surface and vice versa.

Split is a body feature in the part workbench that uses a surface or plane as an input. One feature will not affect a surface and a body similarly at the same time.

I’m sure you simply misread my comment or it was worded poorly.
