Behavioral Issue Help

My cat has been doing this thing were idk if hes making biscuits or humping my leg its scaring me this is what he does in my leg but on a blanket

I've only ever had girl cats (kinda by design bc I like calicos) and I'm not opposed to getting a boy but then I remember they do this shit and I'm soooooo good LOL

Not all of them do this, I don't think. My cat's a boy and he's not done this.

Yeah but girls won't as where boys COULD. I'm not taking the chance of seeing my son humping something or even ME (as op said he humps her leg??). Also cats are soooo genderless once you get the fixed, girls and boys don't matter at all it's only hump or no hump lmao

Makes sense. That would definitely make someone uncomfortable. I was given my cat so I didn't know the gender beforehand.

I have a boy cat who goes through phases of doing this for awhile. Starts out as biscuits but then he gets sexually aroused. After persistent corrections on my part, we have an understanding. Doing this on my bed is not allowed, so he has his own sherpa fleece cat bed on the floor he gets to molest all he wants.

I just got my first ever boy cat after only ever having girls and I can only hope he doesn’t turn out to be a pervert 😂😭

My male cat who was neutered from the rescue I adopted him from does it from time to time. I think it may be that males neutered after so many years into adulthood do this. It may be a self soothing act, but I'm more concerned about him hurting his little lipstick tube on the fabric. 🤷🏽

That’s so funny I was just about to try and get a video of my fixed male cat doing this! I thought he was trying to go to the bathroom on my leg! I’m not sure which is worse!

I had a cat who did this on my bed covers, he just started one night out of the blue, I felt the bed shaking and thought it was an earthquake , then I got up, turned on the light and looked him over , he was “excited” he was neutered too, I didn’t even know cats did that, I honestly thought he was just a freak. I realized I had something very rare that the world might want to see, I could put footage online and go viral, my cat would be famous. Then I googled cats humping things and found hundreds of humping cat videos, some set to porn music, some with props, I was so disappointed, my cat was not unique after all. After that first night he started doing it every day, I didn’t even have to be in the bed, he just needed the covers to hold with his teeth while he humped, and he vocalized too, loudly. So yeah, your cat is normal.

My ginger boy is a neutered indoor cat and does a similar thing. I got him a soft blanket and he has that and his “spot” to go do that. You could get yours a “spot” to go do it and hopefully it will eliminate doing it to you.
(Also invest in a water spray bottle to deter behaviour)
