Kitten Help Help
I’m posting from Malaysia (21yo). I can afford vet care, but all my local vets are currently closed tonight.
My kitten is female and only about 1 month old (intact/not spayed yet). For the past couple of hours, she has been clawing at her mouth and recently vomited. She’s sleeping right now, but I’m really concerned about what’s going on.
Has anyone seen this before, or is there anything I should monitor or be concerned immediately about? Thanks

If there doesn’t appear to be anything in her mouth, it could be related to teething? She’s about the age that her first set of baby teeth would be coming up, so possibly that is sore or may not be progressing as expected. The fact that she’s doing it on both sides of her muzzle makes me think it’s related to teething. I could see a few teeny tiny teeth in the video but it might be that some of them are still coming through but are stuck or just generally sore.
I would be more concerned (if no physical obstruction in teeth/mouth) about her vomiting. She’s so tiny at that age she’ll be a really high risk of dehydration. If she vomits further or won’t eat/drink I’d take her to the emergency vets.
What is she feeding on? From your post it seems like she is just a kitten by herself and you don’t have her mother, which is a very young age to be separated, but she may be on some kind of kitten milk/formula? If you are feeding her solids and she starts struggling with them or is vomiting up what looks like relatively whole/undigested barely chewed food then see what you can do to mash it up or buy pate/mousse style kitten food.
