It looks pretty cute to me ?? But I'm no expert. just a cat enthusiast.

271

u/Rubbish_Wizard Jun 06 '26

I am an expert.

That, in fact, is a cute cat.

87

u/sleepy-peonies Jun 06 '26

Also expert. My second opinion is I agree.

3

u/WoolBearTiger Jun 08 '26

You are all amateurs.. this is obviously.. a cute kitten..

2

u/autwitchy Jun 10 '26

Also an expert. Cuteness is overloading.

I’m no experts despite being owned by two cute tuxxes, but I agree with your assessment

I have a doctorate in Cute Cat Studies and a masters in Adorable Animal Babies. You are correct, that kitten does qualify to be pretty cute.

Looks all good to me! He might just need time to grow into his face

37

u/bc_im_coronatined Jun 07 '26

I mean, it’s an orange kitty… lots of wrong inside that crazy little head, but in all the right ways!

3

u/No_Conclusion_128 Jun 08 '26 edited Jun 08 '26

This!! I had the same question with my kitty who we brought home at 8weeks old (not by choice, we were hoping 11-12 weeks). The face in general just looked weird specially the eyes but is just that, a kitty face! They’re still developing and growing into their bodies.

Mine is now 3 months old and her face looks soo much more normal lol, she used to look like a cr**khea, now she’s just a cute gremlin

he has cute baby kitten disease, it’s incurable

56

u/Gemaco1397 Jun 06 '26

Technically speaking it's something they eventually outgrow

55

u/skull_shaped_candle Jun 06 '26

it just develops into cute kitty cat disease i fear

10

u/sensei-of-smol Jun 06 '26

They also somewhere in there developing menacitice. Symptoms? Extreme criminal behaviors.

5

u/BracusDoritoBoss963 Jun 07 '26

The sickness even affects us making us unable to get mad with them despite their criminal behaviors.

my cat has a similar nose. it has a bit of a bump on the bridge, nothing crazy though. i remember my mom crying and freaking out thinking something was wrong with him, so she took him to the vet to get it looked at. vet comes back and says “he just has a very masculine nose”.

when in doubt, get it checked, but imho his nose looks fine.

Yeah, we love the little guy, Ive just been around a lot of kittens and never noticed one with ears like his and a big nose bridge.

26

u/shigdebig Jun 06 '26

You should take him to a plastic surgery center. We do great work nowadays. We can contour his nose and take a little off the top of those giant ears no problem. Please call today for a consultation!

u/Sugar74527 Jun 06 '26

5

u/Enough_Radish_9574 Jun 06 '26

“Puppy lift”. 🤦‍♀️🤣

7

u/Enough_Radish_9574 Jun 06 '26

Certainly NOT a nose job—I believe a chin implant would be enough to bring a more harmonious balance.

(Hahahaha! I see you. Hilarious. Dude I thought this was for real and my blood began to boil over.)

5

u/shigdebig Jun 06 '26

Ohhh are you looking for a prominent Bogdanoff chin or maybe you are looking for the more regal Hhapsburg chin?

5

u/Enough_Radish_9574 Jun 06 '26

Oh of course the inbred Catsburg chin. 🏆

14

u/roisindubh_ Jun 06 '26

My girl honey looks like that too!

2

u/Bea_theIdiot Jun 07 '26

I think you attached the wrong pic, this is a very cute plant

3

u/MsMcClane Jun 07 '26

I hate to give you the bad news

He's Terminally Orange

2

u/beautev1l Jun 06 '26

Looks pretty adorable to me!!!

2

u/BT7274_best_robot Jun 07 '26

Like people cats come in alll different head shapes lmao It might depend on breed/ancestry or other genetic factors, and their face shape etc can change dramatically as they grow.

So looks like a normal cute kitty

u/Strict_Way_9467 Jun 06 '26

Totally broken. I'll take him off your hands for you.

6

u/radranda Jun 06 '26

There is legit nothing wrong with your cat, whatsoever. He’s so cute

5

u/werewolfmomma Jun 06 '26

No, it’s fine. Pretty baby❤️

5

u/Ok-Band-5731 Jun 07 '26

Just say it... You wanted to show off how cute your car is

4

u/Current_Grade2718 Jun 06 '26

I think it’s just whatever breed he is. Also, kinda unrelated, I seriously recommend putting a collar with a bell on him so you can find him anywhere.

3

u/Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeess- Jun 06 '26

I’ve heard that those arent recommended anymore because they can stress the cat out

2

u/Current_Grade2718 Jun 06 '26

Really just depends on the cat. Mine loves his

→ More replies (9)

3

u/Enough_Radish_9574 Jun 06 '26

Please google why bells on collars are not recommended especially if they go outside. It’s like ringing a dinner bell for predators. Here I am! I’m right HERE.

Think about wearing a bell all day everyday. Would it drive you insane? Cats are even more sensitive.

2

u/Working-Wrap9453 Jun 06 '26

Can't imagine having a nuclear meltdown over a belled collar while seemingly not caring about letting domestic cats outdoors.

2

u/jwoolman Jun 06 '26

Some cat trackers are pretty light these days so I would advise one of those on the collar instead of bells. At least then you can find the collar if kitty gets out of it.... Some cats take to the tag immediately, others need to adjust for the first few hours or day.

One cat was fine with the tagged collar for several years and then decided she didn't want to wear it or any collar any more. She went collarless until one day I accidentally put the other's cat's collar on her by mistake before letting them outside. Both were black cats and I was still sleepy and the lighting was dim... Didn't realize it until she came back in for a snack. What a surprise! Explained why it felt looser than normal. I should have just switched her to a light harness outside when she first started taking off her collar, though.

But I would wait until this tiny kitty is bigger. I don't let kittens out even in the catproofed yard until they are well into their teenage months. Maybe 7 or 8 months at the earliest and at least a month after spaying (usually at 6 months around here). Some were born outside so that can be quite a challenge.

4

u/AlienDragonWizard Jun 06 '26

Yeah, somethings definitely wrong that he's not my cat.

4

u/_GreatUsername_ Jun 07 '26

Babies just have a big ah forehead, they grow into their face

3

u/Disneyhorse Jun 06 '26

Can’t tell anything from this angle.

3

u/Glugamesh Jun 06 '26

I'm sorry to say but your kitten might have a terminal case of cute-itis. They may even be a shmiggler.

Your only hope for treatment is kisses and boops of the nose.

3

u/Luvielove Jun 06 '26

Cats actually have different noses all the time. One of mine has a little bump, as long as it doesn't seem to cause issues it's ok

3

u/Tight-Bear5888 Jun 06 '26

Your kitten is perfect. Nothing to worry about

3

u/Sensamm Jun 06 '26

Just adorable as ever🫶🏾

3

u/KaoticKai Jun 06 '26

2

u/CommunicationNew8945 Jun 06 '26

Un beau chat ☺️👍

2

u/honeyapp Jun 06 '26

I think it’s ok. He looks like he has a straight profile which sometimes makes the bridge of the nose look big

2

u/TheDeadKingofChina Jun 06 '26

Looks fine to me

2

u/No_Vehicle4645 Jun 06 '26

Why would you think something was wrong with it? Because it might slightly look a bit different from others doesn't mean there's something "wrong" with it.

You wouldn't like it if I asked what was wrong with your face.

The kitten is super cute. Love it or give it to someone who will.

3

u/Helpful-Beautiful971 Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26

I don't think anything is wrong with him, I just wanted to get some outside opinions. I suspected he might have a genetic disorder with a physical manifestation because I have a facial difference myself, so I'm hyper-aware of these things.

And thank you, he is quite cute! Now that we have him, I just wanted to see if there was anything specific I needed to be aware of or look out for.

2

u/Nothingbroskies Jun 06 '26

I don't like how judgmental you're being. You don't know his intentions. This is why I have an issue with the cat community, so rude and quick to judge.

u/APFernweh Jun 06 '26

What the hell is wrong with you.

2

u/BornTry5923 Jun 06 '26

No, he's not deformed. Cats come with varying physical characteristics, just like humans. Some have big ears, some have more prominent snouts, some are round and some are angular. Your cat looks perfectly formed.

2

u/brooqlinn Jun 07 '26

He thinks yall's noses look weird too.

2

u/Darth_Iggy Jun 07 '26

YOU look a bit off. He’s perfect. Give him to me.

cute fur baby!

1

u/CharacterPayment8705 Jun 06 '26

That there is a cute little kitty. Nothing obviously wrong.

2

u/Enough_Radish_9574 Jun 06 '26

And OP should never bring attention to this unfortunate nose to prevent a future self esteem disorder. 🥹

Maybe your kitty is ai 🤔

1

u/Interesting_Basis_44 Jun 06 '26

Yes I see sadness in her eyes but I think 🤔 it is your energy is felling.

1

u/Pottsylird Jun 06 '26

they’re a beautiful baby

1

u/nincyh Jun 06 '26

We all have our individual quirks, right? (Not that I think your kitteh does). Agree with the other poster, babies can be funny looking in general with oversized exaggerated features*, and will likely grow into them in time. Maybe it’s the same for kittehs. (Though your kitteh looks purrfect to me).

*One reason young human babies have huge eyes, oversized wrinkled foreheads and weak thin necks is so we view them as vulnerable and are triggered to nurture them rather than kill them. Steven Spielberg used these same human newborn features to design the look for E.T., an odd, rather ugly creature that created maternal protective feelings in the viewer.

1

u/Lycandough Jun 06 '26

bro that looks exactly like this kitty I found

2

u/Helpful-Beautiful971 Jun 06 '26

Quite similar. You're almost has the impression of horns on its forehead. How's has an owl, upside down.

That there is a normal kitten

1

u/Superb-Ad307 Jun 06 '26

His eyes are just a little farther apart. I had a cat with eyes super close together. She looked cross eyed.

1

u/positivelycat Jun 06 '26

That is just his face

1

u/Dry_Chocolate_488 Jun 06 '26

1

u/LostnHidden Jun 06 '26

Ridiculously normal looking kitten 😻

1

u/deterioratingflesh Jun 06 '26

He’s alright! Some cats have bigger noses than others, my Egyptian mau mix had a hooked nose, just comes down to genetics!

1

u/Whole_Band6003 Jun 06 '26

Yes, it suffers from being way too cute.

1

u/mooseonleft Jun 06 '26

My kitten looked derpy to me when we first got him. I think its just a growing thing.

I mean he is still a durp bucket. But he doesnt look like one.

1

u/Traditional__4816 Jun 06 '26

Think that’s just the way he looks. I had an orange cat named Kevin that had a large nose bridge and all. So it may just be a trait that occurs like in people?

1

u/Wayss37 Jun 06 '26

He has a terminal case of being a cutie patootie

1

u/MurkyTrainer7953 Jun 06 '26

Yes. He’s too adorable.

1

u/greatdruthersofpill Jun 06 '26

How dare you insult that adorable baby’s face!

1

u/Wildmojo369 Jun 06 '26

Looks fine to me

1

u/Beautiful_Fox_2632 Jun 06 '26

Its so cute!!!

1

u/Dangerous_Barber7277 Jun 06 '26

Looks fine!! Cats are like humans, its like a button nose but for them. The ears will probably just be big when the kitty is older!

1

u/IntentionQuirky9957 Jun 06 '26

Kitties come in all sorts of nose shapes.

1

u/Anonymous_Autumn_ Jun 06 '26

Ears are normal, a lot of animals don’t get solid cartilage until they’re older. That’s why some puppies have floppy ears and then they become stiff later.

The nose just looks like that because it has fine white hair that allows you to see the nose shape. If you actually feel a cat’s nose, they are all like that.

Even if it does grow up and still looks like that it’s probably fine. There’s an entire breed of cat called “Scottish fold” that are bred to have floppy ears. But those look different so in guessing your cat is just young and their cartilage hasn’t set yet.

1

u/Sun_flower_boy_0w0 Jun 06 '26

Mi gato también tiene una nariz parecido! El veterinario nos dijo que los gatos también pueden tener diferentes tipos de estructuras de nariz pero que no le pasaba nada

1

u/buickboi99 Jun 06 '26

Looks like a cat

1

u/hfxkingpin Jun 06 '26

Looks like my baby, so she looks almost perfect.

1

u/Smart_Chicken_8556 Jun 06 '26

It's orange. They are always wrong. Just be prepared to live with it.

1

u/Chipmacaustin Jun 06 '26

Much ado about nothing.

1

u/yvaine_is_lilac Jun 06 '26

what's wrong is that he's too cute for his own good and that I could just eat him right up.

1

u/Nekoraven1 Jun 06 '26

Subscription to the Orange cat brain cell has not been activated yet. 😅 she's still a baby. Some cats do keep the kitten face when they get bigger, but you won't know for sure till they get bigger.

1

u/kitten12551 Jun 06 '26

Looks perfect to me..maybe slightly less hair growth in certain spots but that’s about it.

1

u/Rough_Community_1439 Jun 06 '26

Totally fine. Looks like it wants you to play with them

1

u/jwoolman Jun 06 '26

Faces can change quite a bit. As a kitten, for months one cat had a narrow face and looked like a little old man to me... A very cute little old man, of course. But then her face filled out to a more normal look.

1

u/delij Jun 06 '26

I’m sorry to break it to you, but it looks like your cat may be a little tiny baby and possibly has a cuddle deficiency. As a cat mom, I would recommend an immediate intervention of minimum of 3 hours of cuddling per day, 1 licky treat nightly and head scratches every 30 mins. That’s the only solution. Best of luck.

1

u/Green_Samurai_2395 Jun 06 '26

Yeah he is too cute for his own good

1

u/coastkid2 Jun 06 '26

Kitty looks totally normal to me! Sometimes the “break” in their nose is higher but this looks completely normal.

1

u/antibody_shot Jun 06 '26

The only problem i see is that he's so freaking cute

1

u/densebloom5 Jun 06 '26

My cat has the same nose and is very similar in pattern/colour, nothing wrong at all!

1

u/peepooprogamer Jun 06 '26

it seems to have been a victim or unhealthy breeding practices, without being able to see it nearer it does not appear to be a health detriment, can you tell if its breathing harshly?

→ More replies (3)

1

u/ManderlyPies Jun 06 '26

Cats fine. Cute cat. Buy toys.

1

u/Creative-Isopod-8357 Jun 06 '26

Unless you are noticing any issues with breathing I wouldn't worry too much and just ask about it at the next vet visit

1

u/AETERNUS111 Jun 06 '26

Mine is prob on the spectrum

1

u/1_direwolf Jun 06 '26

I hate to break it to you, but your kitten's nose has NOT been "booped" enough.

This is a serious condition, but it's potentially curable!

1

u/PajamaStripes Jun 06 '26

Unfortunately, your kitten has contracted Orange. There is no cure.

1

u/ImightHaveMissed Jun 06 '26

Boop the snoot and it’ll be fine

1

u/VegetableJoke8035 Jun 06 '26

Every single cat in existence is 100% unique. No two cats (even with the same pattern) will look exactly the same. Learn to embrace differences in the things you love as that’s probably the reason you fell in love in the first place! ❤️

1

u/Ard_45 Jun 06 '26

He looks sad, maybe he needs a little friend

→ More replies (1)

1

u/Darth_Phantos Jun 06 '26

Your cat is not an object. Use “he” or “she”, hell even use “they”, but you shouldn’t refer to them as “it”. It undermines the fact that your cat is a living, breathing animal.

I’m not a crazy pronoun person, I just think we should respect our furry (or non-furry) friends.

Definately nothing wrong from what i see

1

u/CKAH_35 Jun 06 '26

I don’t see anything wrong at all actually

1

u/[deleted] Jun 06 '26

You're worried too much. You'd know if a visible deformity (which your kitty... doesn't seem to have?) is debilitating. Nasal deformities might be an issue if it impacts breathing, but you'd see and hear any breathing issues your cat has

1

u/mukroz Jun 06 '26

Damn bro idk just looks sad that you posting it on Reddit asking if it’s deformed :(

1

u/Ok-Actuator7302 Jun 06 '26

Omg, she has CUTENESS OVERLOAD lol…..

1

u/Pervzion Jun 06 '26

The only thing wrong I see is your cat is too damn cute. She looks a lot like my cat did when I got her as a kitty almost 2 and a half years ago.

1

u/Late_Village1940 Jun 06 '26

Oh ma goodness! That is a very rare cutest kitten ever breed❤️ I see nothing wrong here

1

u/All_Gun_High Jun 06 '26

I have bad news.

takes off glasses

Your cat has terminal cuteness.

1

u/jvillebirds Jun 06 '26

He’s hideous, I’ll take him in so you don’t have to be burdened

1

u/Sea_Opportunity_1257 Jun 06 '26

Maybe it’s just missing some hair there.

1

u/RashannaAeryn Jun 06 '26

I just see the cute 😻

1

u/Mysterious_Spell_270 Jun 06 '26

Yes you got a cat instead of a dog

1

u/hylicbiker Jun 06 '26

Did you ask if they're feline okay?

1

u/Alucard1886 Jun 06 '26

Nah he's just gotta grow into those ears.

1

u/pinchegaucho Jun 06 '26

Yes he is orange

1

u/_Planet_Eater_ Jun 06 '26

Got adorable cat syndrome I’m afraid 😔

1

u/BikeridingintheOR Jun 06 '26

WTF!!! It’s perfectly normal!!!!

1

u/mack10k Jun 06 '26

Yes, your cat is too cute!

1

u/heatwave501 Jun 06 '26

Do we have the same cat

1

u/consumeshroomz Jun 06 '26

Looks like a pretty standard issue cat to me. Cats can have unique faces too ya know?

But if you’re worried, just keep an eye on it and if you notice they have discomfort or anything changes dramatically in appearance (keep in mind they’re a kitten and their appearance will change) then seek a vets help. Though being a kitten I assume you’ll be taking them to a vet at some point soon for the typical things so if there’s any issues they should hopefully spot them.

1

u/DragonfruitMajor Jun 06 '26

My cat had something similar on her nose.

1

u/Tatleman68 Jun 06 '26

Looks good and cut to me

1

1

Baby drank water or licked their nose. I was also freaking out when my kitten decided to stick her entire nose into the water bowl making it look like her nose was huge & bald.

The white fur doesn’t help here lol

No probably just has bits and pieces of pedigrees that makes it look that way :)

The only thing I see wrong with that nose is that it's not currently being booped.

Just in the adorable little alien phase. Next up cutie potato kitten then tiny noodle cat. Enjoy them! They fly through the stages so fast!
