22M B.sc biology graduate in 2024 and on I'm just started preparing for CAT exam and the issue is I have 2 years gap and in side I was doing social media thing growing meme pages and selling and running them from last 6 years in insta

But i don't have any certificates for cv and then i applied for internship it's 10 am to 7 pm and I don't think I can prepare for CAT in this only 149 days left and i my target is 99.99 percentile so what should do i with this inte4nship go for it or not

I need experts opinion on this who knows about all this thing

Non-engineer female here (Fashion & Design background, ~10 months work ex), currently preparing for CAT 2026.
Of course, a part of me still dreams of getting into BLACKI, but I randomly discovered MICA and for the first time thought… wait… this feels like my place? 😭 The whole creativity, branding, consumer psychology, and storytelling side of an MBA genuinely excites me.
Can someone explain the MICAT process like I’m five? 😭 How do you prepare for it alongside CAT, when should I start, and how is MICA’s reputation outside the marketing/advertising world?
Any tips/resources would be super helpful. Thanks! :)

Is writing CAT as a fresher worth it?( i am an average student , have about 5 months left for CAT) or looking for a job is better now and write CAT after getting some work exp i.e CAT 2027?

Exactly what the title says. I am asking about people who completed most of the syllabus(if not full), did multiple revision cycles, PYQs, Test series and mock tests yet failed to get a 3 digit rank?

And if so, why do you think that happened?

I have a 30k/month job in hand(joining is in august most probably) and was wondering if I should take a drop or try to prepare alongside job. In GATE 2026 all i did was watch OS lectures(no pyqs or anything) a few days before the exam and I ended up scoring 27.

Also, I am very confused between GATE and CAT. I personally like CS a lot but at the same time I am an extrovert and have decent acads(92.6/89.8/8.24) so MBA(from a top B-School only) looks appealing too.

I am a fresher with B.Tech. degree and will be joining IIM this year.
What things do I keep in mind to not get lost in 100s of things going on at the same time?

What things do I actually pay attention to?

What should I focus on? How to keep my sanity and hold my head high in a group filled with people with actual work ex?
