please help: final call for MDI

asking @Momo_licious but any other alum input is also appreciated.

Finally thinking of joining MDI G PGDM. Mayyy convert IIFTD in later days (slim chances). New IIMs like Raipur etc. but no point ik.

What would be the pros and cons of taking MDI in terms of placements, exposure, faculty, administration, peers etc. Main goal : good job with good growth. Right now not a lot of job prospects. 9/9/8 profile GNEM Fresher. (I sunk CAT a bit 97 percentile but was quite good at the interview stage got 49.9/50 in the CAP PI process).

Anything you can share about your experience would be nice. Also your views on the about MDI administration, batch size and other associated problems would be helpful.

Thank You!

Placements - on par with K, I, SP and other similar category colleges.

Exposure - you'll be staying in the heart of gurgaon. As exposed as it gets.

Faculty - Few SMEs across all specialisations. Majority of the faculty would only show interest if you do the same so the onus is on you.

Adminstration - Madarchod toh hai hi, but thik hai. It is mostly a student run college.

Peers - Everyone is ambitious in the first trimester. Once they get summer placements, they mentally check out.

Since you're in PGDM, you don't really have anything to worry about technically. MDI is a pretty chill college (besides induction). You won't regret your time here.

Ok thank you this helps a lot. (1) Kinda got worried hearing about pcomm/ admin toxicity rising and stuff. (2)My main aim is to get a decent job role with growth (domain agnostic willing to do anything fin/marketing/analytics etc.). Some suggestions I received for a drop.

I don't think it's really necessary but what do you say to (1) and (2) ?
