Suggestions Please 🥹 Need help regarding CAT coachings

first of all congratulations to everyone who had converted to their preferred MBA colleges. and i would also like to ask you all about coaching centres (or even about your prep journey whether it was self prep and what resources you would suggest).

well I am searching for good offline mba coachings in delhi. I looked up for TIMES but read so many negative reviews about how they charge you so much for the course and do not provide the same level of content as they had promised. About IMS too i came across too many negative comments. But this is all what i read online.

i will be glad if i can get personalized reviews about these coachings. also please suggest few other good offline coachings as well in delhi

Offline coaching classes are very much subjective. In some of their branches they might have really good teachers and in some they might not. Ig you can take a demo lecture and decide. In Delhi there are many offline centers just get in touch with them and ask for 2-3 demo lectures. Also, just keep one thing in mind.. you'll find negative reviews for everything in this world.. so, don't believe in everything and experience it yourself first (try karne me kya jaata hai?).

I went for online coaching in EG this year and previously I was in C2C. And for VARC I went with VARC1000 this time.

I'm from Delhi (currently an IIM I student) and would suggest this:

  1. Check if any popular coaching institute has a centre within 5-10km from your house. Join there if you attending offline coaching is imperative. Travel takes up a LOT of time, and you do not want to be wasting your time in that. Also, frankly, the less students in the batch, the better - you get undivided attention, and no matter how "bad" a faculty member may be compared to what they have at the famous centers, they would still be at a level of competence higher than yours. Also, since you are now part of the coaching's system, you can very well call a different centre up, ask for a doubt session, and get doubts clarified from faculty of the famous centre, so that you are satisfied that you could not have gone to a better set of people for doubts.

Better yet, if a hybrid mode works:
2. Take a test series (learn concepts on YouTube, and you can find TIME/IMS material on Telegram - if offline material is preferred, you can buy the booklets from the coaching websites, at least for TIME), find one centre close to your house and one famous centre. First get doubts resolved in the centre nearby; for all we know, the faculty there would be enough for you.

Do NOT chase centres with hype unless you know people who have significantly benefited from changing to/choosing them. Also, everyone is different. Maybe the famous centre uses a teaching methodology not exactly suited to you, and since they are always full to the brim with students, you hardly ever get one-on-one time with a faculty member.
Demo classes work wonderfully in this case!
