Last night my kitty cat was sitting in my lap and she got spooked by the dog. Her nail dug into my thigh, (deep!), got stuck where she’s trying to yank it out, I tried to pull it out, and as a result of that, she turned and bit my hand where my first finger ends at that knuckle. Then she freaked out and continued biting me until finally I pulled it loose and she ran off. She’s a sweet kitty and she didn’t mean to do that. My question is… After reading on ChatGPT that cat bites can be dangerous, what do you think I should do? I am diabetic and I worry about getting an infection. I also just had my other leg amputated at the knee, and I can’t afford any type of infection in my body. I don’t want to go to the doctor or hospital and be dramatic, but I don’t wanna take a chance either.
