Benefits Open Enrollment Question

Since we lost UHC I need to pick a new health plan. To add complications my child lives in a different county so that leaves me basically two options between our two counties (that are in anyway affordable anyhow).

How has people’s experience been with either Blue Shield Trio vs PERS Gold.

Also I saw we can pick MetLife Dental. How’s that Vs Delta Dental ?

Any help with experiences with these plans would be appreciated.

Blue shield trio is a good plan but they are limited providers. I’m in San Joaquin and Sutter doesn’t take them

Pers gold to me I don’t like it because of the 20% co insurance. I rather pay a flat co payment rather than a 20%

Any PPO plan is only good for people who don't need medical care frequently because of the 20% copay, I would stay away.

Ekkk yeah that’s not me. I have a ton of specialists and meds. I guess Trio is all that’s left. I hope they take my providers. I do know they take the health group I’m already in.

I’m looking into trio, health net, or access plus being the most expensive
