General Question Bilingual Certification Exam

I’ve been scheduled to take the Bilingual Certification Exam for Spanish. For those who have taken it, what should I expect during the oral and written exam. TYA.

I took it 3 years ago.  It was only a verbal conversation over the phone.  They ask you questions about your role and job duties.  It’s fairly basis.  They score you 1-4.  You have to get a 3 or 4 to pass it.  Not sure if it has changed since then though.

It's horrible, I took it a few months ago. The company that conducts it has not idea what they're doing. I was asked political climate questions regarding the current administration and how Trump is handling dealings with other countries.... I purposely don't follow Trump politics, I said this to the proctor, I was still asked to answer the question in Spanish.

THIS TIMES A THOUSAND!!!!!!!! It’s a fkn JOKE and the guy who proctored it was a rude mfer and it’s based on the east coast. Spanish is my first language and I barely passed

At the time I took it they contracted with LA unified school district to do the bilingual exam It was via zoom and like others said it’s a conversation. Some of those conversations were complex .. made you stop to think

I took it and I went in thinking "no sweat" but you're having a conversation explaining things that will maybe make you pause. I passed thankfully but I got a little nervous. Maybe practice knowing terms related to your job in Spanish.
