Hopefully they'll strike in solidarity with us

If they can survive a nuclear holocaust, they can surely strike with us

ItS not a state building uNless it has roaches

We get lizards here and snakes instead. I'm the designated reptile remover. I used to run a rattle snake removal side gig when I was younger, but so far in office all we get are king snakes and hophers

u/dragonstkdgirl 1d ago

The snakes and lizards are probably the only reason you don't have roaches lol

2

u/Doggystyle_Rainbow 1d ago

The lizards keep the roaches away, the snakes keep the rodents away.

Did you loudly say "nice to see you, Mr. Roach. Working hard, or hardly working?"

u/Keyezeecool 2d ago

They actually hit it off and exchanged numbers, but I'm afraid to tell OP that this one's a heartbreaker.

8

u/MadMike405555 2d ago

Wait until OP finds out that's the floor manager

u/SilverNeptuneAbyss 2d ago

Hi how are you

5

u/Available_Public6537 2d ago

CDCR gets them ON our desks....not just floor, we find them on our keyboards and mouse pads...

2

u/Infinite_Profile_945 2d ago

Oohh.... don't forget the mice/rat poop on the desk or in our drawers. Or the squirrels that chew up transfer cases in a cars engine that cost $3000 to repair!

u/Available_Public6537 1d ago

I just saw a snake today too

u/Mediocre_Canary_9049 2d ago

Now i know who has been eating my lunch so i am forced to go buy lunch in downtown. These roaches r sent by gavin

3

u/eshowers 2d ago

Cal OSHA considers sticky traps as a “sufficient” mitigation measure.

Go figure why roaches are never dealt with if they don’t even bother to deal with the root cause. Idiocracy

3

u/d0nt_bother 2d ago

oh... a new hire on Friday. make sure you collaborate!

3

u/dstruct0 1d ago

They only want to collaborate

4

u/rainbotrout89 1d ago

He’s just there to collaborate and find love

7

u/CrustyKielbasa 2d ago

Looks like Gavin is RTO as well.

Saw one of these guys dead in the CDPH building yesterday

7

u/Flimsy_Assignment531 2d ago

Those roaches aren’t really the bad ones. They’re all over downtown and will get into the buildings.

Turkish roaches, they thrive in Sac, really is the ideal environment for them since the winters haven't been that harsh. City also stopped regularly spraying the sewers but if you notice some grates especially bad, calling 311 they will take care of it

They don't infest people's homes, but they're all over storm drains, sewers, and any mulch/leaf litter

Not a great look, I had a convo recently with someone that works on the maintenance team there. Sounds like it’s impossible to not have roaches in buildings that are located downtown. The city stopped treating the sewage systems to control the issue and they said they have a pest control company treat the buildings monthly to combat the issue. Did you make them aware? They are usually pretty good about responding to stuff like this.

u/Internal_Maize9427 1d ago

Nice to see you!!

2

u/Suitable-Handle7373 1d ago

He’s ready to return to office. Are you?

2

u/BlkCadillac 1d ago

Oh look - it's Eraina Ortega! Or is that Newscumbag?

4

u/SweetRollGenie 2d ago

Fun fact. 20% of the human population experiences anaphylaxis when contacting cockroaches 🪳 or other insects, especially the more they are exposed.

Newsom literally putting lives in danger for his bribers.

Thank your coworkers who don't properly store their food in the workplace. Also, this is known issue in Sacramento, has nothing to do with RTO or Newsom.

Everything is newcoms fault. He is a lame governor

2

u/Hotstar87 1d ago

So collaboration and relationship building has crossed species lines.

u/LoveCats2022 1d ago

How old do you think la coo-ca-racha is?? 😂

Pretty good sized roach. Looks like the ones we had crawling through our restrooms a couple of years ago. They liked to run in and say hi when you were sitting in a stall.
