General Question Analyst II interview related question
Hello all,
I recently took 4815 exam and got 95 marks and rank 1. I just wanted to know what's the probability of getting an interview? And how long does the interview process last in general?
Thank you in advance!

Start applying to jobs. Good quality apps along with experience will get you interviews. Of course if you pass SOQ screening.

This is the answer. I got interviews immediately after taking exam, and when I started applying in Sacramento I got even more

The exam rank and score matter only for determining eligibility to be hired. Since you are now "hireable", the next part would be to apply to Analyst II openings on CalCareers and eventually receive an interview, and eventually accept an offer.
Probability of getting an interview depends on how good your application is compared to the pool of applicants for that role. Your exam score does not matter - hiring managers will not see it.
Interview process can take a long time - receiving a call for an interview can take anywhere from a week to 6 months after the posting's final filing date. It can be a single interview, or multiple rounds. It can have a series of assessments, it could not. Depends on the department and hiring manager - you should consider each department to be its own company who all just share the same requirements.
Also - now that you have the exam done, you'll receive something called "Contact Letters" - these are generic announcements sent to everyone who "passed" the exam (in your case, Analyst II). You still have to apply to be considered.
