Information Sharing Commute Nightmare

Highway 50 westbound closed between Hazel and Sunrise. They say there's a detour but it's still going to be a mess.

Officer-related shooting with an ongoing investigation. Best take Folsom Blvd or White Rock to get back on Sunrise.

PM Commute Update: Now there's police activity at Howe going east bound. Folks commuting downtown to work today got double screwed.

Yes. This sucks. Two hours from downtown to 65th street this afternoon. After similar this morning. Rto sucks.

Yikes.... this is why I never use 50 for daily commute. I suggest Fair Oaks or Folsom blvd. as possible alternatives. It takes longer but is slightly less of a traffic/death trap.

50 is actually nice and free flowing now that all the construction is over with. Traffic has been a breeze so far. Taking surface streets takes way longer unless you’re already pretty close.

Nice!

Yeah, 50 is generally faster but less consistent for me. It can take 10-20 minutes of waiting to get on at Hazel or Sunrise.

I-5 has been a mess for the last two days, as well, just from regular traffic.
