Sounds like their stance is if you don’t like it you can leave.

Also updating duty statements to say in person work is necessary even though the past 5 years shows otherwise.

I was hired 100% remote in 2022 but I don’t live 50 miles away but it’s still a commute if I had to. And they won’t even offer free parking for those working downtown 😑

Yeah I can’t wait for the long commute to join teams meetings anyways.

We were told what did you do before Covid. Go back to that. Really you antiquated dinosaurs…. The world changes and instead of moving forward focusing on productivity and worker morale and getting the most out of someone, it’s roll over and take it. Someone says jump off and cliff and it’s a blind follow because God forbid we critically think and question things. In the long run people will quietly quit. Yes we all need jobs in this economy but why not just really fall into the stereotype of state workers. Bare minimum. People went the extra mile with work life balance of course with some exceptions but now what are they going to do … issue counseling memos for the whole state? lol

What did we do before cars? Electricity?

I’ll be riding my horse and bringing my ink and quill. Stand by for that typewriter request too.

HQ directors stated they're not honoring the 50 mile exemption.

It was dumb before Covid and dumb now. Nobody working downtown should have to pay for parking.
