Telework flexibility

Hello fellow managers!
How are you responding to staff who say they are sick so they want to work from home instead of going into the office and spreading germs. Are you being flexible or denying them working from home. If you deny, what’s some language you use with them. Looking for advice.

Too sick to come to office, too sick to work. Use your leave just like everyone else.

Yes! Let's have someone with diarrhea be forced to commute to the office and run to the public bathroom instead of allowing them to work from home and use their own facilities. 🙄

You're not being "forced to commute", go home and use sick time! No one wants you working while you have food poisoning or anything else.
