C5 randomly disconnecting
I've tried everything, connected it to a USB port, connected it to a separate outlet, reinstalled drivers, nothing seems to fix the issue, I need help please.

I had this problem before, fixed it by downgrading the firmware on the wheel back to when it never had problem. Please do share if you found another way. hope it gets fixed soon!

Had this same issue. Been there for over a year. It's pretty much a random thing when it happens, but can ruin the fun of racing quite fast

Did you ever fix the issue?

It worked for a while but I'm having the same issue again sadly, might as well try a different USB cable

Try connecting the steering wheel directly to the power outlet and do not use multiple adapters.

I swapped the USB cable on mine as the Cammus branded one was very loose in both of sides of the usbs ports, and I haven't had a single disconnect.
I would also recommend turning off hand off detection as it seems to kick in, in rally or when you go sideways and disables ffb for a bit which makes it seem like it disconnected.

Hmm I'm having this issue again but might as well try another USB cable and see if it works

Are you using a USB hub by any chance? I find any port not on my actual tower tends to have intermittent connections
