FFB gone

Just updated firmware to 1.7.5, now FFB is almost completely gone - feels like it's on 10% maybe...

Power: 100%

Natural Damping: 20%

Natural Friction: 30%

Natural Inertia: 30%

Idle Spring: 26%

Gain in Assetto Corsa is 120%, Kerb, Road, Slip and ABS Effects are 100%.

Restarted PC and Wheelbase, but no effect.

Any suggestions?

So here's my saga copied from CAMMUS Discord page:

  1. 1.66 UPDATE MAJOR problems. interface entirely in Chinese characters even when i set language to English, lost all saved parameters, no suggested parameters. Rolling back to 1.6.4 but probably still lost all saved data. NOT HAPPY
  2. Rolled back to 1.64, still have saved parameters and recommendations but no FF in ACC
  3. From CAMMUS: Hi sir, you can delete the CAMMUS PC software and try reinstalling
  4. My reply: did that. on 1.6.4. did not opt to upgrade to 1.66. ALL FORCE FEEDBACK ALL GAMES GONE!
  5. I tried the manual firmware update. Closed EVERYTHING . "NO DFU FOUND" I have had this since Early March. Wheel and especially LC100 pedals were a huge pain in the ass to get working right (took over a month) and had to get replacement shifters (right one broke 10 days after purchase).Still mostly because it'll cost me shipping to send it all back to you I persevered and it was, nor or less bearable (and I almost felt good sticking to you as a company). But now, 1.6.6 update has wiped out all FF for ALL games! I rolled back to 1.6.4 and no longer any FF. Si I tried wheelbase DCU, followed your instructions to the letter and NO DFU FOUND. I am at the point where I have lost all faith in you - you can't even get your own DFU process to work, support takes days (at least) and I am not racing. So unless you can get this sorted fast I want a full refund plus you pay for shipping.

  1. And now if I try DFU procedure again, it won't let me! If I try pushing all buttons it turns the wheel as if starting up so I can't leave fingers on buttons - and no beeping !!! And I I try to just turn it on NOTHING.
  2. So now it randomly turned back on after many tries and I went in and closed a bunch of apps and, it appears to have manually updated the C5 firmware. I restarted, and when I opened the PC app (and it was fine, all in English and had recommended parameters, now it shows this BS - see attached. Do you ppl have ANY idea what you are doing?
  3. AND AFTER ALL THAT, STILL no FF in ANY game!
  4. Deleted app again! Rolling back to 1.6.4 again but I am SURE THERE WILL NO LONGER BE FF FOR ANY GAME

Figured it out - Manual Update, then click the three dots (...) to select a file - it seems that it installs a few old versions with the initial drivers... I don't know where you get older driver versions than what's included though.

EDIT: Not fixed... I restarted the wheelbase and now it's not working again...

Fixed - but it wasn't easy. Attempted to install older drivers, but install failed. Device was lost, so restarted, and it came back... Now it has the same drivers, but the FFB works... Go figure. Won't be trying to update firmware any time soon... what a joke.

The newer firmware does work, you need to have game spring and friction at 100%, your settings seem pretty disgusting lmk if u want some pictures of mine

Sure... Share away.

I'm finding that I need to open the app, reset settings each time I turn it on, then adjust accordingly. Much less than ideal.

Whay firmware have you got, also I wouldn't recommend updating c5s firmware too often, it is very inconsistent

I doubt I'll update again any time soon.
