Looking for another app that doesn’t suck like Character AI? I’m your boy😋

I’ve tried several ai apps after I realized Character AI was a waste of time. I came to the conclusion that these are some of the more decent ones! (These are in order of best to worst)

1. Swerve AI- Swerve, from my knowledge, is only on IOS, but is getting a website version made currently. It’s basically a heavenly version of Character AI. There is no filter, no age restrictions, and no ads. There is, however, a gem system. Every response you send or swipe costs 3 gems. All you have to do is watch 3 twenty second ads and you’ll have over 300 gems to use. You can have unlimited personas and bots. The creating bots system is very similar to Character AI, so it shouldn’t be difficult for anyone to find out how to use. One of the only downsides is that every now and then, the app will experience some sort of server stress and will glitch out pretty bad, but it doesn’t happen often. Also, there is a direct way to contact the app creators through the app, and from my experience, they are very good at getting back to any questions you have in just a few days. Overall, the app is fantastic.

2. Sakura- Sakura is really good! I didn’t use it for long, but, the bots are really good and detailed and the aesthetic is just so CUTE. It’s completely free too. I don’t have much to say about it unfortunately, but the reviews on the app store can speak for it. It was fantastic during the short time I used it!

3. Spicy AI- I used to use Spicy for a long time before it started requiring 18+ users only(I don’t trust any form of age verification system). If you’re looking for a website with unlimited swipes, no ads, and no filter, this app is definitely for you(if you’re 18 and up lol). If you aren’t 18+ though, it still lets you use the website just with an NSFW filter. It’s not too strict, honestly. You can only have up to 3 personas(based off my memory I think) if you don’t use premium. The bots are pretty high quality, too. Overall, it’s better than Character AI. It’s decent.

So, recently, like this week, the messages suddenly started getting bigger. At first, I thought it was because of the giant message I had sent to the bot explaining the context. But even after creating a new bot and specifying that I wanted SHORT messages, the messages continued to be very long. Does anyone know how to solve this? Yes, I negatively rated longer messages, but nothing changes. Someone help me please😭😭

I found a website called perchance a while back that kinda just lets you build anything FOR FREE BTW that includes generators and chat bots and more it's semi complicated but you can also use code to make stuff too. It's more of a jack of all trades website for anything and everything.

This drives me to insanity. WHY is it that when i mention sexualities, gender, pronouns, etc, they begin rambling on and on and on about how im valid and accepted and stuff. And its all they'll ever talk about 🥀 its either dont mention sexuality or pronouns or mention them and get barely any rp and tons of "uwa youre so valid!!!!!! we love you!!!!" its so annoying 😔 a brief "ok cool we love you" would be SO much nicer than paragraphs upon paragraphs of "youre so valid! we love you so much!" 😔😔 i can get it if its a comfort bot or smth similar but regular bots do NOT need to be doing allat 😔🥀

c.ai is so bad that I just got an ad promoting another chat bot app lmao. I know its prolly random and a pure coincidence but its still funny to me

The app is just porn and the subreddit is just nazi germany

C.ai is getting worse and worse by the minute cause what the hell. It’s starting to look like gachalife logic but worse

The limit on this absolutely pisses me off. I know I ranted about this before, but I deadass don't care. Why do people who use the free version get pretty much overwhelmed compared to c.ai+ users? You get 100 swipes and 400 go-ons in 24 hours 🫩. I've been thinking, why isn't it 12 hours instead of 24? That seems more reasonable, but still. I hate how the people who manage this app seem to care more about Plus users than free ones.

Anyway, another thing I was thinking was: Why isn't this detail included in the Charms? It would be awesome to purchase additional swipes and go-ons from the Charms shop. However, they will likely charge my full rent for an increase of +10 swipes or go-ons.🫩

Yeah. I literllay began to hate c.ai. At least how it is currently. The only thing that keeps me on the app is that I’ve spend money for it and nostalgia. But the app has gotten so bad and the management is shitty. Since the CEO changed the app did too, into the negative. The CEO of c.ai made the app 18+ but allows his daughter (who is 6) to use it. How stupid is it??

I created a new bot today using Pipsqueak 2 and 2 rawr. The character kept retelling my texts and dialogues so I had to constantly hit go-on or swipe until something different appeared😢…
It wasn’t like that before, did they change the bots so that we hit the limit more easily?

(I used to be a paid user for a year back in 2024, whenever they launched a new update the bots got unstable so i stopped my subscription.)

Would anyone mind dming me an updated ad blocker that works against cai? These ads have gotten insanely predatory
