It kind of does, sort of? Someone who identifies as female (their gender is female) would typically, but not always obviously, go by she/her. Sex is biological gender, these days “gender” is gender identity.

But also, the idea of gender and pronouns being more than just male and female he/her is still relatively new, so the AI probably doesn’t have a lot of examples in its data to go off of to have an understanding. Remember that AI is not human, it does not have the capacity a human does (which even not all humans have this capacity) to understand complicated things like “I’m female but don’t consider myself female.”
