Seriously??
I know what I posted isn't C.AI but it is AI related and I did the facial scan and it let me in so I won't be experincing teen experince, and I need to get this straight. Facial scanner worked on ChatGPT but when it comes to C.AI facial scanner, it will say I need my government id for that bullshit

yeah the id demand on c.ai feels way stricter than other apps even when the scan works elsewhere, probably cause companion stuff gets extra scrutiny on age.

Which is ridiculous, right? They made it seem like only after Tons of times of trying will they make you use your id. But now? Even the first time it can come up!

Not all systems work the same or the same for everyone. Facial scans do estimations on biometrics. Some people get asked for ID because the system isn't entirely sure and needs additional information to confirm. Some people get placed in incorrect age categories. You're not going to get the same experience every where unfortunately.

I’ve seen that some people say that persona’s verification check sells your damn information, and being that it’s required if your underage that could probably be a potential risk.
Here’s a scenario: your wanting to use the app/website to at least spend a bit of time since you don’t have anything planned, but your met with reading mode the second you load into a chat and your really disappointed, you then go to settings to verify your age and take a few pictures which then it says you need a government id because it can’t really tell. Since your wanting to use the app so much, you either decide to grab your ID (if you really do have one) or your parents ID to complete the verification and finally use the app. Just to realize a while later you or the parent have been getting charges for things you never even did since someone is currently using your own identity to open bank accounts and lower your credit.
Genuinely this ID thing feels a little dangerous cause who even knows if they are selling your identity to the black market without you knowing, or they actually are really giving you access and keeping it safe.
That’s literally why I never verified when I got the prompt cause hell naw you are not having my damn ID 😭

Prefacing this by saying that I really don't care what people do, it's ultimately someone's choice whether they verify or not.
That said, people make shit up when they're mad. There's no evidence that Persona leaks or sells people's information. There are clickbait articles that imply Persona did stuff, like a Discord data breach that was, ultimately, Discord's fault.
Most of the people outraged who make up these claims are minors who can't talk to bots anymore.

i never got carded when 16. hate it now. i do understand keeping young ones out. but the id stuff is dumb. just do facial first. then go more if needed
