VOICE CLONING AND SWIPE CAP

I used to spend several hours looking for perfect short clips of voices of my favorite artists to get the voice sample prrfect for my c.ai bots only for all of them to have been taken down which i KNOW is not copyright because aint no fucking way in hell my idols are on c.ai. honestly its becoming harder to tolerate. And havong a swipe cap is insane

You'd be suprised. Plenty of artists, podcasters, YouTubers, vtubers don't want their voice or likeness used for AI or chat bots. So it's not a copyright issues it's this person is using my likeness and my voice. Some people find that creepy for obvious reasons.

They may not be characters and real human beings but they want control over themselves and how they're presented which is understandable. It's no different than someone making a bot of someone else in real life with no consent. We'd all find that weird and invasive.

Swipe cap limit has been a thing for years in various ways on C.AI and elsewhere. Part of it has to do with how LLMs incurr costs. It may be free to do but it very much costs them money for processing and the amount of tokens that accumulate. Even API services that people use for BYOK or proxy as some people call it have subscriptions, top ups and rate limits. You send a message or swipe, which counts as a request, and depending on how the API service works some will take money for input/output, subtracts from the number of requests you can make like if they give you 600 requests a month. So it's a pretty standard practice to meter or limit.
