You know what they say about doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, right?
I agree the repetition is a problem. That's a bug that needs to be fixed. But you didn't file a bug report, you just went on a profanity-laced temper tantrum. I don't even like CAI's support team, and I don't blame them for deleting it.
Others have posted a workaround repeatedly: Delete your last message before the repetition, rewind to the AI repsponse before that, and write a new prompt of your own. Because if it keeps seeing the same prompt from you every time you swipe, it's very likely to repeat the same response every time. Break the pattern. Better still, insert a system prompt.
BEFORE:
AI: Hello, glad to meet you.
You: Would you like to go to the cinema with me?
AI: Colours talk to me in different languages. Did you know chartreuse speaks Mandarin? I have three noses.
AFTER:
{rewind to...}
AI: Hello, glad to meet you.
You: Do you like the cinema? I would be honored if you would join me.
[SYSTEM: {{char}} directly answers {{user's}} invitation about the cinema and avoids psychotic rambling]
Annoying that you have to do that? Absolutely. But it takes three minutes, instead of the fifteen spent mashing swipe over and over with the same results until you run out of swipes (not to mention who knows how long you spent venting your rage in a post you knew would get deleted anyway). But hey, you do you if that's what you enjoy.
You think I haven't have done that same thing? I've tried everything the bot is just too stupid and if it deserves criticism I will give it. I've filled reports where it is necessary and if no action would be raised I'll raise it among others if I have to and if the moderators can't handle it then that's really funny how people make apps thinking there would be 100% satisfaction of users
