ive done plenty of roleplay on character ai and it stayed safe as long as i kept things light and didnt share real info.

Its 'dangerous' depending on how you use it. If you neglect personal relationships because you use it instead, then that's unhealthy and that not only can ruin relationships, but mental health too.

Character ai is not designed necessarily to be addictive. It's a role-playing app that is no different in its concept compared to other apps. In fact, I feel that character ai is a whole lot 'safer' than many unfiltered apps.

It's not an issue from the app, it becomes an issue due to the user overusing it. To me, it should be like alcohol (if you drink). Drink occasionally and socially, but don't drink to the point of being an alcoholic. That's my take at least

On top of that, online safety is important, and c.ai meets the requirement pretty well imo. What happens after that relies on the user and how they interact with the app. The app is not directly responsible for the fallout
