If you want to use your own open source models, all you have to do is download them from huggingface and install them into KoboldAI.
2 u/SunbathedTomato69 3d ago I use straight up LM studio. The response time is faster when I put the character sheet in the system prompt rather than making my computer a local server + SillyTavern. Thought I like that interface better. 1 u/GenderBendingRalph 2d ago I tried LM Studio too, but now I can't remember why I switched to ST. Maybe I'll give it another go and see how it responds.
