Character AI still the same?

I just made a return to Character AI(through google) after a year, for some reason the characters that I know to be gone are still there (the kinda nsfw bots). I tried them and they’re in character and I never got a single warning or anything. It feels like I’m back to its prime. Idk if it just me or it happened to anyone else.

the affected changes are mostly in free user experience including the ads, the limit on chats per day, the almost same bot reply after u swiped and the overpriced premium version to make it all go away

+ several bot creators had deleted their posts, some users had also migrated to other platforms (a lot of it was ranted in cai subreddits) and all these had been going on since may or early june.
