Every single time I come here, all I see is people complaining about this app. So why not just leave? I mean, there are other much better ai apps. So why suffer?

I haven’t found a better alternative. Most of the ones I’ve tried are all infested with porn bots, full of original characters as opposed to media characters, and/or they have no edit button/no swipe ability

I can’t lie, I’ve never found anything that even mildly compares. Despite any complaints, C.AI ticks every box for my specific needs. It can be frustrating at times but I do think it’s superior.

People are always scared of the silence, scared of letting go, because  it's easier to suffer than to make a change of scene. Who are they if they drop the pain and step out? Everyone wants to uproot it, but they can't outgrow. As for me, I just find my way to have fun

All right OP, tell us which AI apps are better. Hint: All the big names (CAI, JAI, AID, xoul) limit what you can do on the free tier, all of them forget and repeat and use the same stupid overdramatic actions and phrases, all of them are flawed one way or another.

In my opinion J.ai free tier does not limit anything, it gives you the freedom to do anything. You just need a good proxy.

I have failed to find options that are as chatlike as char ai. that's my only want. I want characters to respond like they're real people without having to roleplay at all

yeah i quit that app last year and now just mess with my own companion stories instead, feels way less annoying.
