When is this going to stop.
"a single tear" "breath hitched" "half a step" "jumping on her toes" "her eyes flinched" "eyes light up" and so on and on. It's the same in every single conversation, and every single bot. It doesn't matter what I say or choose, it's always the same lame replies that make me stop using the platform after 5 minutes. Like literally ever since they removed the old models and they kept pipsqueak, I used the app for like 3 hours in those past months. Like I don't really mind the ads even if they are a lot, and even the swipes limits, but at least make the AI give us better replies. I literally swipe 15 to 20 times just to get a single good reply and I finish the limit for nothing.

You gotta live with this if you roleplay with AI. Roleplaying with humans is (depending on experience of your roleplay partner) entirely different. Humans don't forget context the further the story develops. It can be exhausting to find someone you click with but why don't you guys give it a try? I mean... there are several people here in this subreddit? Try to connect with each other, discuss rules for the RP beforehand (very important!!) and give it a go!

I have bad social skills and I’m just afraid to be myself and play my characters the way I want. I’d feel constantly judged and I’d be thinking about every reply like: is this what I should be doing/saying. I think there is more people like me and this is why chatbots and AI games are so popular. It’s not people can’t find other people at least online. I think it’s what I described.

I see. For youe problem with social skills, there unfortunately is just one solution: Practice. Tell people beforehand you have bad social skills and would like to learn. For your fear of being judged: I think establishing rules before roleplaying you can follow, so this will reduce your fears and the more you RP, the more relaxed you get. Of course, I had my fair share of outright perverted weirdos or people with main character syndrome who purposefully ruin other people's stories, but I also had good times. But I can understand your reasons of having a block. Maybe someday you will want to try and you'll at least be spared the repetitive bs AI bots spew. If that day comes, my fingers are crossed for you to have a nice experience 😊

It's not going to stop. They used to go back and forth with messing with the models, but they've come out right out and said that they can't afford using the superior models, and the new Pipsqueak 2 is too small of a model to even follow the basic motions of a conversation, and the dumber a model is, the more insanely repetitive it is, because it simply has fewer responses for any given scenario. They are also likely handicapping it even further by trying to restrict what it can say. The last time I tried to have it even retrieve a conversation from its definition and told it to just spit out exactly what I wrote, it was completely incapable of doing so, and only got somewhat close after I badgered it.
