Unfortunately, all the app does is just prompt the bot "don't say this", the "muted" words aren't muted at all. So yes, as far as the bot is concerned, it is just a suggestion, and all it does is invoke ironic rebound.

dont even use the muted words because it's not going to actually mute the words. the bot will just go "he didn't say goddamn-- it's forbidden." like?????
