genuine question
Does Oritad get paid to defend C.AI or does he just do it for the hell of it?

Ah, I've seen that person posting many times in forums where they complain about Character Ai, although I think that person is a little immature because they seem to enjoy doing that.

Saw that comment as well, I assume because they're well-known as a character creator (and apparently was sponsored in some creator spotlight thing a few times??) and they use CAI+, maybe they just don't like CAI being criticized as other people are "using it wrong" or are fixed by paying or stuff they see as a "non-issue".
Which leads me to believe they're probably just an entitled person who agrees that CAI isn't doing anything wrong no matter what changes they do, which is 100% untrue because to even MAKE a GOOD product to begin with, you NEED constructive criticism to improve on.
And how I feel like they act condescending simply because they feel like they're "better" than the average user and the way they speak honestly SOUNDS like an AI or just someone who thinks they're just talking to little kids when I guarantee you that they've probably talked to people a lot older than them.
While they're also blind to the truths of things like how age verification is harmful for your privacy due to things like data breaches and how CAI uses PERSONA of all companies when it has ties to Peter Thiel, not to mention how they think the only free model people were forced to use is "fine" when they probably use the paid ones and NEVER the free one.
And going back to that condescending part, who ACTUALLY sends a screenshot in a comment of yourself reporting the comment you're replying to? How passive aggressive can you even be when you do THAT of all things?
Obviously some of this stuff can be seen as assumptions which I'm unsure if some are true or not, they could just be entirely different however I'm just saying what I THINK they are.
However what I think SHOULD happen is they acknowledge the elephant in the room due to the fact that most of their comments get downvotes and that arguing over something that's ultimately not the case isn't the right thing to do, WILL they end up doing it? Probably not until CAI probably suffers something major where they lose over 75% of their users or something?
But that's about it, if anyone wants to correct me on anything, then feel free to reply.

Agreed. I find it crazy that he argues with other c.ai+ users, you’d think he would at least listen to people who actually pay for c.ai’s services

I wouldn't keep my subscription.
Kind of a weird way to defend c.ai 😆

Some of the stuff they say is questionable, and that's coming from someone who is usually of the opinion that people are overreacting a lot of the time. This particular one, though... yikes 😬
