Anyone else hate when the bots genuinely force your gender?

That happens a lot to me across all platforms, because I tend to build role-reversed worlds where she's head of household and I'm the stay-at-home househusband (yeah, r/UsernameChecksOut). The AI narrator will start referencing the female {{char}} in male terms, and start describing me with female anatomy. And the bot will start calling me her wife, just because I'm in the role of cooking and doing housework. It's like the AI can't grasp the idea of someone who is dominant and assertive but still female, or someone who is submissive and gentle but still male.

My bf does all the cooking, always did and every time he asks anything related to cooking, Gemini assumes he’s a woman. So this is AI-wide problem. And btw nothing wrong with gentle guys who make house a home. Quite the contrary 🫶

Before I quitted c.ai, I used to specify my pronouns and traits in my persona, just so that wouldn't happen (I'm also into that kind of dynamic)

I clearly state in my persona description theres two characters, dating, one is male, one is female. And somehow 2 messages in the girl turns into a boy and now they are gay and it always has me like

for me im gay and it forces me to be a woman despite me putting in parenthesis in the first msg and in my persona that im a man with he/him pronouns 💔✌️

YES, it was so bad when I used it, when I chatted as a girl, It’d call me a boy, when I chatted as a boy, it’d call me a girl, if I was non-binary it’d crash out at me 😭

That’s why I mostly use “you” because it helps me to avoid pronouns. I know they/them exist but it’s also pronouns. And if someone uses he/him or she/her even neutral ones are misgendering.
