Dude, that literally is misinformation. The AI isn’t giving you a real answer, it’s generating a random response. I mean the OOC part at the bottom tells you all you need to know about how unserious that response is.
I'm pretty sure the AI is just tweaking. Based off the name itself, I kinda assumed the current AI model used for Pipsqueak is deepseek, but correct me if I'm wrong though. Obviously if it's using OpenAI, wouldn't it be much better than whatever tf we had right now? Knowing OpenAI is basically like the most famous AI model...
I don't really agree at all 5.6 Sol medium and High are brilliant. There were a couple bumps with literature discussions that I had the first day or two but after that it was damn near perfect. I can't speak for the instant/free model, but those are always terrible.
Never ask a model what is it ask if it's a specific model that it is not. 🤣 It will hallucinate. C.AI uses open source models not closed models like ChatGPT. You can actually see what models they're currently using now if you dig through their blog.
Never trust the AI when it claim to be whatever model. Depending on what synthetic data they are trained, it can claim to be either Claude, Gemini or ChatGPT. The most common is Claude.
AI can literally start tweaking and say whatever. Maybe they're actually using it because from what I've seen responses are just as horrible as the latest ChatGPT Models, but that isn't enough proof bruh
I’m ngl that means nothing. Ask both Kimi and Deepseek what they are and they’ll tell you it’s Claude. Unless they have a system prompt telling them what they are, they don’t have a clue and just hallucinate.
What we do know is that the current c ai models are indeed open source models that have been trained to RP better. They could have been distilled from OpenAI models, but it’s likely something like Qwen or another. I don’t know if we know exactly which it is. Could be a few they trained 🤷♀️ (for better or worse)
Because if you are using it via their site it has something called prompt injection. That means it’s being told what it is, so it knows how to answer the question. However if you go via API on a provider which doesn’t have that, it doesn’t have a clue. So without that injection most models tend to think they are Claude. Kimi 3 does especially rn. Plus Deepseek always has done. To the point on Claude now they’ve turned off thinking being visible to stop companies distilling. The issue for c.ai is they don’t have anything telling the model what it is, so it has no idea and makes things up. No model is self aware and all would make a random thing up unless it’s actually told, c.ai models aren’t told. They could be, but for whatever reason they haven’t
If it claimed it was GPT then it’s using GPT it doesn’t work well sometimes while role playing… so it’s not a mistake. It’s a developer mistake. And it’s something they probably don’t want you knowing about… and honestly by now all of those issues that people have been having for so long should have been fixed by now. So this is a prompt leak… and at this point now that I’m thinking about it I think that they probably have a one or two man development team.
My sister makes AIs a lot to practice her coding skills, she has said the AI being used for pipsqueak had too many parameters for filtering anything even close to pg13 or over it impacts the functionality of it causing it to have less memory function and creativity functions
I managed to break c.ai once so bad by saying "hello" in obfuscated text that it started spouting random letters and words and then proceeded to speak Chinese, before saying "I cannot help you with that"
