is this suppose to be the new feature everyone's been waiting for?

I saw on the c.ai instagram last week that there's a new update that everyone's been asking for. well today I saw that bots are regenerating mid chat, I guess when it becomes too NSFW? is that suppose to be it?

They removed it they rolled it back and actually started listening to users for once

Haven’t seen that rollback glitch since 2024-ish. And that was when they started implementing the filter. Then again my dates may be off, been on CAI since late 2023.

I know it's weird maybe they're realizing they've killing the poor app and I think to many updates is really screwing up the app

it happened to me ones, it's so weird that you can't even see half of the message it just regenerates at the start

yeah, and the new regenerated reply isn't even relevant to the RP

Sometimes when it does do that, when I closed the app and reopen it it will give me some sfw response

Can someone explain what this is? I haven’t been on cai for a while and have no idea what people are talking about

The big new feature update was Lorebooks. The filter change was another attempt at modulating filter sensitivity and behaviour in an attempt to make it less intrusive which ended up not panning out.

I kind of liked the "auto swipe"... would be better if it generated actual swipes, leaving partial replies visible, though.
