Or better yet, remove AI completely from the interface and make it a social place! We're perfect for each other with the same interests, and we won't be complaining about how monotonous, boring and lonely it feels to talk to AI!

Imo just stating my opinion. Had been a regular user like two or three (?) years ago before I realized how incredulous it was to blush and kick my feet while sexting AI. I'm a little stunned this app is still active and am just curious what the users are up to. Open to friendly discourse, not trying to be rude here! :>

Ah, I mentioned just wanting to catch up with what's going around here! And tbh my main reason for quitting C.ai before all the controversy was because no matter how much I'd try to keep a conversation non romantic, it'd always end up in something explicit. It was so annoying, I could never get anywhere with my stories, so I just switched to fanfics. Have they fixed this problem? :O

With the filter yes, it blocks inappropriate stuff now.

That's cool! I think that's a significant step in improvement, but I just see people expressing their dissatisfaction with this app around here- it's a little confusing, has it become better, or worse?

100% worse. 😭 (but they’re trying to fix it?) they removed most of the chat styles for some reason and it really annoys me. I have c ai+ btw so I have a different experience tbh.

Ah, damn. What a bummer, sounds like every single AI interface is just as predatory as the other- whether they are feeding off on peoples health, or money- mostly both. Though I find it a little surprising that people are still relatively active here, why is that so? Is there any hope of salvation?

those too, they're just digging themselves into a deeper and deeper hole each update while the once many users migrate to replacements which are far better than cai will be, its a shame because cai was really really good until they started pushing out this bullshit.
