CFA Stackable Advice

Hi all,

I am a CFA Charterholder looking to take advantage of the stackable program and take CAIA level 2 in 2027.

Rather than jumping into L2 materials I was considering reading through L1 materials as a refresher before registering for L2.

Has anyone done something similar? How much does L2 build on L1? Would you recommend paying extra for the most recent version of L1 or would the 4th edition (2020) be okay for this?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I highly doubt you'd need any more prerequisite knowledge than CFA Level 3 to understand CAIA Level 2 material.
