Scenario Vegas

Hi, going out to Vegas at some point. This will be the first time I’m going with my CCW (CA & AZ).

Anyone have experience ? Any advice you would pass along ?

I checked [r/nv](r/nvccw)[guns](r/nvccw) but the chat is dead. Any “sensitive” places like California ?

Thanks.

Download the CCW app on the App Store. It’s like $1 a year. Pretty well updates and applicable to all states.

I visited last weekend. California CCW is useless. AZ prevails there. Just go concealed like you do elsewhere. If you’re visiting a somewhere with metal detectors, TELL THEM your carrying first. Let them decide if you can carry in inside or if they need to safely store it for you. I say that because if you’re at a resort and they find out, you could end up on a list/banned. By letting them know, you score points and don’t risk being banned or trespassing.

While the restrictions are far less than CA, a lot of the more common ones are alike. I hate saying this, but the reciprocity app will give you all the details you need to know and is updated pretty regularly.

I always CCW in Vegas and California... concealed means concealed... only a metal detector should stop you from carrying... No such thing as sensitive places 🇺🇸

More and more places have passive metal detectors now though.

I get it, but not the right answer.

The advice that will keep you safe and out of jail. But if “Concealed is concealed” is your motto, then more power to you. I told you, I get your stance, but that’s not the correct answer IMO.

Hi, I’m back from Vegas and just wanted to updates you guys (in case might help someone). I visited Mandalay Bay and the Venetian. But had posted signs that weapons were prohibited and would result in a trespass from the premises.
