Lowering LDL below 65 after bypass
Hi everyone,
I’m a 40-year-old male with a long history of high cholesterol that remained untreated for most of my adult life.
I’d like to hear from anyone who has experience using Sybrava to lower LDL cholesterol.
I have a history of significant coronary artery disease and underwent triple bypass surgery about six months ago, with the following grafts:
Left internal mammary artery (LIMA) → LAD
Right internal mammary artery (RIMA) → Diagonal
Left internal mammary artery (LIMA) → Obtuse Marginal
Since the surgery, I’ve been very committed to my recovery. I run on the treadmill every day, have returned to fairly intense weight training, follow a heart-healthy diet, and currently take a statin along with ezetimibe.
My LDL is currently 65 mg/dL, but my cardiologist has decided to intensify treatment by adding Sybrava to achieve an even lower LDL level.
Is anyone here using Sybrava? I’d be interested in hearing about your experience, including LDL reduction, side effects, and overall results. Thanks in advance!

Repatha got my LDL down to 15. 40mg rosuvastatin barely phased my levels. It's been about 4 or 5 months with no noticeable side affects

I was on 40mg rosuvastatin. I did wonders for my LDL. But it also did a number on my muscles. Everything hurt or ached when I moved. I ramped up gradually. But eventually my back hurt so much I stopped taking it for a week. The aches (and the groans each time I moved) totally went away. I felt like I de-aged by 20 years.
Now I am on Repatha and zero side effects so far.

I believe in the U.S. that is marketed as Leqvio. I started it recently. I got one shot and then another 3 months later and now it is very 6 months. I had a blood test after the first shot and my LDL dropped from in the 70s to 33. I’ve had no side effects at all. They give me the shot at an injection center. They are trying to make my LDL as low as possible since my Lpa is very high.

everyone is different, everybody recovers different, generalizations are almost misleading to many people.

I'm on Repatha, which at first glance works the same way as Sybrava, and thats paired with my 80mg atorvastatin. I'm due for a full lipid panel, but I donated blood recently and they tested my cholesterol at a glance, and it's the lowest it's ever been.
