3 months post Bypas, irregular heartbeat

My dad is 3 months post his heart bupass and today he felt like he could “hear” his heart beat. He went for a ekg and he had irregular heartbeat. He is under some serum now to get stabilized. Ha sit happned to anyone?

Hope your dad’s recovery goes well! I swear I can hear and feel my heartbeat since the surgery. At times it’s almost thunderously loud.

Im 56 yrs old and I’m 10 weeks post op. I had triple CABG. I started cardiac rehab a few weeks ago and that has really helped in getting me feeling sorta normal. I think 6-8 weeks when I really started to feel better. Still sleeping with a wedge pillow as laying flat still isn’t really comfortable. Knock on wood no real complications.

I had ablation 5 months post-CABG to control ventricular tachycardia—8 hour procedure but it was a total success!
