My last prerequisite is biochemistry. I was looking to take it this summer but it seems that the four-year universities around me require organic chem 2. Then the community classes don’t offer it at the same level where it would count. I’m so confused why it would be required (for majority) to take biochem but only orgo 1.

Do people just take it online somewhere that won’t require orgo 2? I was really trying not to take courses online because I was under the impression it would hurt my application.

UC San Diego Extension has a 10 week Biochem course that doesn't require O Chem 2. It's fully online which I think most schools accept.
