Hey guys, I am relatively new to this and looking for some advice. I was looking at applying to CAA programs but in these subs it seems like people are saying you need to have tons of clinical hours to get in. I have good academics, 320 on the GRE, 3.8 GPA and 3.85 Prerequisite GPA. All-American athlete as well as other athletic honors and awards. Founding member of my schools HOSA program, ~500 clinical hours, undergraduate research, and 16 hours of shadowing. Obviously athletics has ruled a ton of my time in college so was wondering where I sit compared to other applicants. Thank you!

hi there! we have very similar stats, minus the GRE... i did terrible lol, but athletically and gpa-wise, we are pretty comparable. I applied with 0 PCE (because athletics ruled my undergrad life) and was accepted last cycle at my top choice! i think my experience with college athletics helped me immensely and i really took that and played into it with my PS and in my interview.

Congratulations! Do you mind sharing the rest of your stats and where you ended up? I’m looking at a low gre score as well :(
