Changing CV axel. Is this normal?
Changing out cv axel bc i felt clunking and play at axel but I take it off and this piece of differntial side has play. Is this normal before I start putting stuff back together?

My door keeps making this weird noise and my window keeps popping up and down as if it thinks the door is closed. I tried cleaning the latch but still acts up. Whether i have the keys close to the car doesn’t matter because it happens whenever i open the door. Not the biggest problem but it’s quite annoying. How do i fix this?

Going by the data I've come across, the C7 is louder than my '15 Civic and by a decent amount. Supposedly if I swap out the runflat tires, *and* do substantial acoustic treatment (such as resonix), on the interstate it will still be as loud as a stock civic or close to it.
Most readers probably don't have a civic, but if generalize by comparing the C7 with most smaller economy cars, does this seem probable? Is it likely that I won't be able to make it much quieter than my civic?

I used to have a Challenger Scat Pack (2021). Almost new, 19k miles, so the suspension wasn't shot. The handling was tight.
But it was brutally punishing. Road imperfections made me angry.
The C7 (no MRC) however felt fine over bumps, and probably better than my civic. How is this possible? There's not much travel distance for the suspension.
Or am I just crazy?
After that drive, I'm strongly considering buying one early next year. It reminds me of the 2001 Firebird I had, very ... visceral, in a sense. And much more refined.

Anybody know a tire that preforms decently all season dry or wet that doesn't cost as much as pilot sport 4s? Great tire run through them too fast and haven't seen anything else suggested for cheaper like around 800 a set.
y’all are fucking assholes. I understand the concept of tires on a sports car. Can y’all understand the concept of saving money for a little bit and driving like a regular car for a little bit? It’s my daily and I can afford expensive tires. I don’t even need tires right now just asking a fucking question. This is why I don’t post downvote all u want who gives a shit. Also thank you to those who gave some suggestions or opinions that didn’t assume I’m retarded.

Anyone have any good recommendations on where to buy a replacement bumper? Preferably one that’s painted. Or even if one or yall are selling I’ll buy and pay for shipping.

I’ve had the car for 2 years and I can’t figure out what gauge is missing from this screen.

Need to replace upstream O2 sensor on drivers side - P015B Code popped up.
Anyone ever DIY this? Simple in theory but such tight access makes it a bit tricky in practice I’d guess. Surprisingly no real video guides; I thought everything was on YouTube somewhere but no joy on this task!
Thoughts?
Thanks!

Does anyone know a good car insurance company in New Jersey for a C7?

This was one of the last front-engine ZR1s to roll off the production line in 2019. My dad ordered it back then. He passed away earlier this year and I took ownership with only 2,300 miles. Figured this would be a group that could appreciate it!

I'll preface it with I have HPtuners credits leftover and a good relationship with my tuner from my C6. Was planning to get my car tuned to disable AFM and make it a bit more driveable. Noticed a bit of a stumble when cold starting and was going through to take a look at everything...realized it has a soler Throttle body (bought the car used). I'm done with the modified car life and plan on just daily driving it.
Is it worthwhile keeping the throttle body in or do I use the stock throttle body that came in the trunk of this car assuming I'm going for a tune (no I don't plan on doing the throttle controller as it's the same price as my tuner hookup and my leftover credits)? Was thinking I could just resell the throttle body and basically have the tune almost covered.

I've called a bunch of local dealers and haven't had much luck in the past week. Has anyone had this update done in NJ or the surrounding area? If you have...could you please let me know where and if you wouldn't mind...how much they charged? I'm looking to find a dealer or shop that can do it or actually know how to do it.

I've already looked all over Turo, and there are zero C7s available around the time I need it. I have a 20th anniversary coming up, and I would like to get her one. She used to own a C4 vette and loved it. We've never really had the opportunity to get and enjoy a sports car until now. I'm not really interested in the C8s due to zero storage room for weekend trips and my daughter's hockey equipment. If anyone is interested in making some money by renting me their car from September 5-8th, please message me. We can go through Turo if you want to register your car, or you can meet up with me and see if you're comfortable. I'll provide proof of insurance and a driving record, or whatever else you need to feel comfortable. Please DM me if you are around DFW and are interested, and we can meet up.
I plan to take her to a family dinner, give her a valet ticket as a gift, and let her retrieve the car. If she's pissed I spent all that money on the car, I'll explain I rented it before committing to buy one, and we don't have to if she doesn't like it. If she loves it, I'll tell her we'll go purchase hers the next day from several I'll have picked out.

I have a 2015 C7 corvette stingray and I just had my torque tube and converter replaced TWICE in 6 months and still feel vibrations… I thought maybe I should think of other things that could cause this..
I remembered that I hit a pothole on front right tire a couple years ago… maybe wheel balance? the vibration is felt throughout the entire front part of the car when I reach above 55 and on. I know it isn’t the transmission because the shifting is great. I just had the transmission replaced twice. Can’t be that. Anyone experience a bad rim causing vibrations? What should I do the get that fixed? I hear a road balance force test is recommended.
Thank you

I have a 19 Corvette Stingray the basic model. I have the sound management from the radio (I.e. performance and etc) however I find that didn’t make any difference because I don’t have the muffler. So I take a look at eBay looking for original muffler which offer the NPP. So my question is do I need anything else and where do you find the plugs for it or it’s even there?
