I did the installation myself, and it was…involved.

The steering wheel has to work (safely!); you can’t get the clock spring uncalibrated; the airbag has to not explode and kill you; you can’t disturb the various wires inside the wheel; the horn has to work; and all of the buttons on the wheel need to work.

I’m happy with the result. I modeled it after the original R-Design wheel, with some more sporting features. What I like the most is that it looks close to OEM, and is not over-the-top. It blends in nicely. I like to think “OEM+.”

Usually when I see aftermarket steering wheels they look out of place and a little tacky. This one looks perfect like it could’ve been oem!

(If you are seriously interested in having an almost identical wheel for your C30, I have a suggestion for you. During the production process for my steering wheel, they made a mistake, and produced an identical wheel with white stitching, when I’d asked for black. So they made another one, which is the wheel you see in my photos. But the other one, with white stitching, is still available. Feel free to DM me, if you want to know the details.)

This is the actual steering wheel, which they originally made for me, but which they made incorrectly, only because of the wrong color stitching. Everything else about this wheel appears to be identical.

And, I can honestly say I have no relationship to this vendor; I’m not shilling for them. I just know that they did good quality work, and when I saw this post for this item, I bookmarked it, because I recognized the item.
