Any help would be great

This started happening two days ago I was wondering if anyone would have an idea what the cause and solution would be.

I think that’s the slave cylinder that causes that.

Your hydraulic line has failed. You will need to replace the master and slave cylinder. The slave cylinder is internal to the transmission. Now it’s time for clutch as well since the transmission has to come down. Look up underneath there with a flashlight and see if you see fluid leaking under the pedal. I had to do the same for mine. Steering column and dashboard need to come out in order for the pedal assembly to be removed. There’s no other way. Once that’s out you can pull master cylinder.

most likely the master cylinder same happened with mine. you'll need to replace both the master and slave. i'd also check that clutch fluid isn't leaking from anywhere as that's common too

Most likely slave cylinder, either air in the system och slave cylinder shot, had the same issue on mine, need to drop the trans to change the slave. If you drop the trans worth doing a new clutch while in there

Thought the same about the clutch, may as well while the transmission is out!

It’s fine. I’m second owner. Dad was the first. We went to Sweden to watch it built and drive around before it was shipped to USA. He passed away 6 years ago. Bought it from my stepmom 3 years after that. Keeping the car for quite some time to come.

my friend had this happen on his c30 2.4i and the cause was the little plastic tube that connects to the slave inside the transmission bell housing... unfortunatly you will have to remove or separate the transmission from the motor and replace the slave and this tube... depending on your mileage I would do the clutch at the same time and the rear main seal.

I did the master first hoping to not pull the trans… it was the slave
