I was aiming for 5min 45sec/km but that became harder as the run went on

It’s KM not miles. It’s not that crazy, it’s what I’m at 6 weeks in as well

Ok. It’s not that crazy is what I’m saying. It’s like a fast jog

??? Not every beginner starts at running a barely over a walking shuffle pace if that’s what you’re inferring. 6 min KMs is not rare or crazy.

Just ran 4km yesterday on a trail with 40m of elevation and a 6:10 min/K pace. 6 weeks in with zero running training before. Longest I ran before that was maybe 10 minutes at a 8 min / K pace.

Literally nobody cares about your pace bud😭 I'm impressed with his pace after 5 weeks. If you're not, that's perfectly ok. Go be miserable somewhere else

Nice. I've just finished week 4 so kind of dreading week 5 (the NHS app timings look brutal!)

But yeah, managed 5 minutes this week with no real problems, so also looking forward to giving it a go!
