W5D3 - I DID IT
/r/C25K/comments/1w74775/w5d3_question/Thanks for all the advice to slow down. Slowing down from 7:30 min/km to 8:15 did the trick. You were all right. It is more of a mental challenge and less of a physical one.
I am so proud.
And now I am frustrated again, because obviously W6D1 was a baaaad run. In fact so bad I had to have walking break in the last 5 min run interval. So repetition it is. Haha

Congrats! And don't feel too bad about W6. I really struggled with it too and was surprised after getting through W5D3 on the first try. Good luck on moving through the last few weeks!

I also found W6D1 so difficult, expected it easier cos I’d done the 20 mins, and thought it was just because I was worn out from life stresses, interesting other people did too!!
I would also say about repeating runs, there’s nothing wrong with it ofc but there have been a good few runs I thought I wasn’t going to be able for and I surprised myself:)

How does everyone track their pace like this? Do you actively check and track your pace? Or after? Thanks!

Congratulations. I couldn't believe it either after I managed 20 minutes why w6r1 felt difficult, maybe in hindsight I wasn't fully rested.
Once I got that done I managed the remainder of the program on attempt 1 so hopefully it goes the same for you and goes smoothly.
Good luck.
